Disgusted!I went to the Greendown with a party of seven to celebrate my mothers 68th birthday. We ordered our meals and I ordered my meal on the reccomendation of the waitress, when it came it was not how she said it would be. I asked very politley if I could change my order as I was not given the correct imformation which was admitted by the waitress, but I was told I would have to pay for two meals. The owner/chef came out into the middle of the resteraunt where there were several other parties eating and told us to either pay for another meal or he would take all our meals away from us and we would have to leave. He was very aggressive and abusive and told us "That's just the way I am!" We we're very upset by this and we were prepared to pay for our meals until he spoke to us this way and embarrased us and himself infront of other diners. We have been going to the greendown for many years but sadly because of this we will never go again whilst he is there. Even the other customers aggreed with us that he shouldnt have spoken to us this way, especially infront of everybody. This ruined my mothers birthday which we were all looking forward to for some time. |
